For
some reason or another, we've always thought our neighbor, Carmen
and her husband own an electrical shop downtown (don't know why!).
But Carmen surprised me the other day by saying they're putting
their farm for sale.
At first she said, she had a bakeria (sp?) for sale and she wanted
me to have a look at it. First thing that came to mind was that
they were selling a bakery. (it only later dawned on me that this
must come from the word vaca meaning cow in Spanish)
Well, lo & behold just about 10 minutes walk from where we
live was Carmen's farm property.
Anyway, Carmen asked me to help her advertise it online (She
doesn't speak English, so if you're interested you may have to
come with someone who speaks the lingo. Or I can help you with
my pigeon Spanish when you come over --but don't expect me to
understand everything!)

of Andalucia's most charming village, Alhama
De Granada. It is about an hour away from Granada and about
45 minutes - 2 hours to the coast (depending on which route you
take). It is a 15-minute walk to the center of town.

300 cows, right?
It's situated on top of a small hill, so you get an amazing view
of the gorge, the small lake, the rolling hills, the distant mountains.
